Where to Go in San Vito?

Good question. Most people from San Vito would say that there´s nothing to do. I strongly disagree.

This is a short list of things to do.

1. LEARN ABOUT THE HISTORY
In fact, when you first arrive in San Vito, you will notice that 5 streets merge to the Central Park. This is because of Italian influence. From Dante Alighieri, you can see Giulio Santonetti´s statue, which observes the North of the town, and the way it was built, in the middle of the mountains, with no blocks, like most towns influenced by Spaniards. It is very interesting to see that the Church, the soccer field, the town´s Hall (minicipalidad) are all apart.

Walk around and pay attention to the street names "Calle los pioneros, Calle il Vesuvio, Calle Mottola, Calle Amerigo Vespucci, Calle Guaymie, among others.

2. Aguas Calientes Hot springs

45 minutes North of downtown San Vito, you can find Aguas Calientes hot springs. Its access is not the best, however if you are adventurous you can do it.

3. Fila de Cal´s ocean views
From San Vito to Ciudad Neily you can get some good look out points. La Torre Restaurant has a really good view for you to take some pictures and appreciate the lowlands of Corredores and more.
4. Wilson Botanical Gardens
Great place for bird watching and plant lovers. A worldly know botanical garden with great collections of heliconias, ferns, palms, etc. If around, you must go to visit it.
5. La Amistad International Peace Park
Not the easiest access, but, once you are there, you won't want to leave. Great primary forests, untouched nature. Cerro Pelon would be a nice place to visit. El Salto waterfall and a lot more.
6. Cantaros Farm
If you want to take some good pics from San Vito, check it out. You can also go for a walk and see some animals and vegetation.
7. La Flor Cafe
Best coffe in town. I highly recommend to try ¨shiver¨ It is just delicious!!!

8. Coffee Plantations + The entire process
Lots of places. Just do it the way we do it in Costa Rica. Ask around. Ticos will kindly help you out.
9. And much more. I will provide a better description later on. Good bye Amigos!
